Ok its not quite as severe as it sounds but Jessica Simpson is teaming up with country singer Dolly Parton to perform live in Tennessee, of course this isn’t Jess’s first brush with a country legend she also worked with Willie Nelson for her movie “Dukes of Hazard”
Apparently Dolly Parton is quite excited about working with Jessica as she explains “Jessica is going to come up to Dollywood, and we’re going to do something real soon.”

Pop star JESSICA SIMPSON is turning her new home into a antiques palace after getting turned on to classic furniture by SHARON OSBOURNE. The singer/actress and her mother are decorating the Los Angeles home and Simpson is determined to fill it with antiques. She says, “I wanted antiques that have meaning. I was speaking with Sharon Osbourne and she was saying how great it was to sit around an antique table and think about everybody that had sat there.”

Before we go further I just want to say this is a rumour and while it sounds credible we haven’t confirmed it yet.
Apparently after her relationship with John Mayer crashed and burned she was feeling very lonely and found herself on an unnamed internet dating website, the experience of anonymity was so seductive sources say she now spends much of her free time flirting online.
A source told More magazing “After she split up with John she set up a MySpace page to meet new people. She did it in a fake name but got really into it. She’s totally addicted. Whenever she’s at home, she’s on her laptop. Jessica loves the idea she can use the internet to look for a man who’s interested in her personality. She pretends to be this shy Texan girl.”
I think alot of people are pretty hard on Jessica Simpson, I mean sure she’s gorgeous but shes also talented and has been through alot for being so young which is why I feel this may be credible.

It appears that more and more Jessica Simpson is begining to believe she will never date again, in fact she believes people are speculating that she is a career ender for any man in the entertainment industry who tries to date her.
In Jessica’s own words “My fear is that I won’t ever date anybody, because they’ll think I’m going to ruin their career. That they’ll be on the cover of every magazine and it will automatically take away their credibility, to be bluntly honest with you.

Jessica Simpson recently sat down with Jane magazine for an interview when she answered the question many fans have been speculating about for months now, What was the exact event that led to her divorce?
Simpson responded explaining the end came when Nick Lachey decided not to join her on a charity tour in Africa back in October of last year.
“I went there on our three-year wedding anniversary, he stayed home.” she went on to explain that during the trip while she was seeing all those sick children in hospitals she realised something “On that day, everything became so clear,” she says. “I was in hospitals with all these sick kids. I just knew I needed to find something more in my life, on my own.”

Since their nasty divorce both Nick and Jessica have released solo albums, both albums did very well, whats bad about that? Well Nick Lachey’s album sold more then twice as many CD’s…
As of right now the publically released figures show that Jessica Simpsons latest album has sold a total of 218,972 CD’s while Nick’s release has 545,345 CD’s sold, wow what a difference.
Thats a pretty huge drop for Jessica whose 3rd release sold 9.2 million copies and more then triple the sales Nick’s last album had in the same timeframe.

This is an unconfirmed rumour but we have heard reports that Jessica Simpson may be in talks to do a guest spot on “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” for a November episode, however Life & Style magazine has picked this story up so it has some credibility.
However both Jessica’s rep and the tv shows rep both say its not true.. of course they also insisted Nick and Jessica weren’t splitting up so who knows.
